Other pending dates include a concert at the Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock; maybe a joint concert with the North Little Rock Community Band.

BRANSON, MO POSSIBILITY:
There may be the possibility that we could play a concert before one of the major shows in Branson! This would be a Friday night on March 23 (Spring Break) or March 30. PLEASE, check your schedule to see what you would be able to do so you can let us know this week at rehearsal. We would go up on a Friday . . . . play the concert . . . . . spend the night . . . . . shop alittle and eat on Saturday . . . . come home Saturday evening early. If this is a viable possibility, we'll have to hit the ground running with a fund raiser or two . . . making travel plans!
PLEASE, CHECK OUT THOSE TWO WEEKENDS:
March 23, 24 or March 30, 31

LOOKING FORWARD TO REHEARSAL THIS WEEK:
It was good to have Bryan Rodgers on alto sax with us for the first time in along time last week! Hopefully, we will see more new faces this spring!

Have a great week!

~Lewis

P.S. We extend concern and prayer support to John Sutton who is having to take time off from band to take care of his wife; and to Bob Curry as he takes care of his dear mother. Barbara Fels continues to take care of her mom as well.

We are glad things are getting better for Zetha!

Woodwind Clarinet Bob Curry Pine Bluff Developed interest in classical music through band under R. B. Watson. Took three years piano. Began collecting old 78 RPM records of classical music and developed an interest in opera and 20's style jazz. Taught myself to play soprano and tenor recorders (early musical instruments) and was a member of a recorder consort when I lived in Dallas. Helped organize a recorder consort when I returned to PB in 1980. I played for many years in consort that performed with the High School Madrigal Dinners under leadership of Marty Sewald. I returned to clarinet after 33 years when I joined the Community Band in 1999.
